Within that transformation from trauma, we will alleviate the symptoms with physical, emotional, and spiritual healing from our nervous system. This will allow us to regain our capacity for self-regulation—thus allowing our emotions to uplift us rather than drag us down into a gulf of misery. We learn from our experiences; we become more passionate and excited about living our lives; and it allows us to face life with courage and trust that will allow us to move forward in profound, beautiful ways. That trust will turn into something that can erase anxiety.
